Quince photography tips for San Antonio
Quince Photography in San Antonio is some of the best you will find this side of Mexico. It is my personal favorite thing to photograph. I enjoy seeing the large Quince dresses of all sizes, shapes, and colors rich with our Mexican culture. I myself, have stood in on over ten Quinces in my teens and it was always so much fun. The dancing, the food and families and just being a part of the community. I have attended hundreds of Quinces in my lifetime yet everyone was special and unique. Photography has allowed me to help carry on the Mexican tradition that is the Quinceanera.
Along with the unique styles of Quinceanera dresses, photography too must be unique. It takes planning and executing that plan to end up with photography that will reflect your style. Having a theme for your Quince can really set it apart from all the others. Location can also play a big role in how you want your photos to look. Some examples can include Cityscapes, Farm and Ranch, Palace or castle,s or simple wide-open spaces. The use of props can also be very beneficial to a great session. Props can be things like flowers, crowns, horses, antique cars and so on which you may like to incorporate into your photos.
There are other things I also recommend to ensure that you have a good session. Having a friend or family member available to assist you with makeup touchups and patdowns is always a big plus. They can also carry things that may be helpful on your shoot. Some of the things I always recommend are a sweat towel, touchup makeup, and hair bobby pins, and hairspray. These things prove to be invaluable on the day of your session. Being a San Antonio native we know that it can get really HOT here in San Antonio so when you schedule a session it is always best early morning or late evening. Having something cool to drink can also be a lifesaver here in South Texas.
